1st four day

Day One, St. Louis… Not the place I pictured myself going. The day before when I sat at the airport I had read of a trip going thru the Bahamas but alas It was not mine. I flew to St. Louis, I saw the arch and the Missouri river. The flight was good the people were nice and all went well. When we arrived at the airport we met a ramper who looked just like Orlando Bloom. We even had him pose for a picture. So should you like to see it I have it on my phone. I will write more on this city later as I did fly into it again.

Atlanta-- Ok so I have been here once or twice.. More than that you could say. The flight to Atlanta was easy, half full plane filled with pretty happy people. We sold quite a bit of alcohol on that one. But no tips, oh well. Anyway the other FA told everyone that we were coming thru to pick up the last of the trash before landing, so to toss in all unwanted paper including hundred dollar bills. This is where I wish I was quicker, a man in the 14th row took out a hundred and threw it in the bag it took 4 seconds for me to even relies what it was, at that time he quickly pull it back out. I tried to grab it but I couldn‘t. Then the passenger 2 rows back started laughing about me being slow, I told him that It still should be my money because he did place it in my bag. He agreed with me but that man who had the money wouldn’t give it back. Oh well Next time I will be quicker.

Ft. Walton Beach FL.. So I have learned that I can be very naive about things and when a person from a place tells you something about there area then you really would like to believe them. So I said something stupid like is there a beach right here or is it far away. This lady looks at me and says there is no beach here or a fort. I found that strange but a city name may have nothing to do with what’s there. So I got off the plane and asked the gate agent why there wasn’t a beach there and he just looked at me. He said there is, and he then explained it to me in great detail. Yeap I am officially the dumb FA of the day. The passengers do lie. SO anyway we made our way to the hotel 40 min. away and right on the beach. Would have been great had it not been dark and raining. So I sat in my room watching T.v and the tornado warnings that flashed a crossed the screen. I had a feeling I should be in the know of something (Just a side note it’s important to know what county your in.) Sure I heard the weather out side but was I really in the eye of the of the storm? Come morning I found out that Yes that was my county, I could have been blown away.

Day 2--

The day was easy we flew to Atlanta, to Melbourne Fl. Back to Atlanta. Then came the exciting part maybe the shortest flight I have ever taken. Macon Ga. From Atlanta it is a 1 ½ hour drive it was a 17 minute flight from take off to landing. So quick it seemed like the speeches took longer than the ride. To tell you how short, we didn’t even have to get out of our seats. There were 9 people on the flight and one baby. I have never been to Macon so I guess that was a bright side of the trip. No wait a nice young military guy tried to pick me up I think. He was asking so what are you going to do tonight, where are you going to be? I told him that outdoorsy girl was coming up to meet me and we were going to go get something to eat. He said oh you have a friend coming I said yes, he said well have a good night. Anyway so we get to the hotel, I walk into my room and there are other peoples things in there. I called the desk they told me to come back down, so I did and they gave me another room. I went to that room the Key didn’t work. I went back down, they said oh yeah we have had problems with that room, here is a new room. When I got to that room it worked I was so happy. So outdoorsy girl arrived we went to the very pretty and grown over cemetery it was nice. Then we went to eat. After dinner we planned out our summer. So all in all day 2 was great and Macon, GA is a very nice place. I will be back to take pictures, and explore the old homes.

Day 3--

Macon to Atlanta to St. Louis to Atlanta to Oklahoma city. On the flight to St. Louis I was given Israeli Money by a man and his wife who were from there. He asked me if I knew where that was, I may be a little goofy sometimes but I do know where Israel is. He told me that I should visit sometime. I Said that there is a little to much going on over there for me right now but I hope to someday. He then looked at me and said “ I am more afraid about what I see happening over here then what is happening where I live.” I guess it has to do with what we are used to. They are fighting for things they believe in and we are just fighting I don’t know. Anyway this was a different flight to say the least. One man on the flight used my name in excess, every time he needed anything or I would walk by he would use my name, it was strange. A military man traveling with his Military wife kept winking at Me and the other FA when ever we would walk by. Then a guy about 20 maybe 21 from New York was getting off the plane in St. Louis, He lifted his sunglasses and look me up and down. The said humm I’ll remember that. I looked down to see if I had something on me, and he laughed I was like what? He said Lisa the funny one. I still have to wonder. Oh well it was a good flight anyway. On the flight back to Atlanta, A passenger ordered a beer, it was at this time we realized that while the plane over nighted in Macon. Some one had helped themselves to the beer kit leaving 2 beers out of 12. So we couldn’t help them to much with drinking. On the brightest side of the day I did go to a new state. Oklahoma City was pretty dead on a Sunday but it was still a nice place.

Day 4..
Nothing to much to tell about this flight other than I was ready to come home. It was an easy day. Get up, get ready, get on the plane, fly one leg, get off, go home.. Four days over and done
